Yaoundé — Football fans in Cameroon are no longer surprised to see Laurence Béatrice Ndougou driving the minibus of her football school. In fact, the ‘prési’ (short for présidente), as she is fondly called, often drives her players to a football match.
Ndougou is one of the few women managers of a male football team in Cameroon. Besides a degree in accounting, she also has a license as football trainer. But she prefers to use the term ‘manager’, not ‘coach’.
